in 7 days i will be in auckland. I hope to have an official website up to document my journey from student to teacher, fan to creator. I'm gonna be an action star or a director or a successful rapper, dont care which or when, but i am all of these and the site will be a place to be apart of my beginning, middle and end. Stay posted. The winner stands alone

Been watching a slew of korean movies lately, The man from nowhere an instant classic (like my fav bittersweet life) the action and humour and tragic drama all balanced nicely although the chinese version i watched had bad English subtitling but happy news as the US version comes out 8th march so i will buy a another copy. (my version said' feed' everytime a character said talk)

Rough Cut was another film i really enjoyed, story of 2 characters, one an action star (which i hope to be one day) and a gangster who dreams of being an actor, when their paths meet they each offer each other something to think about and they decide to make a movie together where the action scenes are all real, the punches and kicks etc...simply awesome, i hope to be a superstar like that action hero but hopefully where people dont question my credibility (so i will train hard like burce lee and donnie yen :P my heroes)

Wu Jing-itis at the moment, seen drunken monkey, city under seige, SPL (for like the 3rd time) and fatal contact in the last week, i hope he makes it big - he's doing well and i look forward to his work in shaolin and windblast, took donnie til he was like 40 to make it big so hoping Wu Jing can make it earlier. (been watching alot of old donnie films too, holy virgin vs the evil dead, high voltage, chettah on fire, ballistic kiss etc i really cant wait to make films myself in a year from now :) be awesome!)

Anyway all my movie watching aside (its all i look forward to after a long nights work, or even a day off after constructive business) i have been working on things besides watching trademe for houses to rent in auckland and saving my cash. (which is hard considering how easy i fall prey to foreign dvds on ebay :) haha)

I'm working on a mugen game, a 2d fighter tournament, i have 14 characters designed and i am in the process of drawing them, myself included :) will be epic, i will post sample sketches on my deviant art site which should show up here anyway.

Havent worked on any music or Dark Records related things for a while now, but shooting a couple of live videos of Surface as well as promo pics for the site so once i get to aucks and catch up with a friend we can rehash the site, would be nice to making money while studying so i can save up for my feature film project after i graduate.

I'm thinking of doing a video blog for a year once i get my Aucks place as Something to build up suscribers on my channel and build a name for myself.

Last but not least, reading again. I'm happy. Right now I'm reading The winner stands alone by Paulo Coelho. And in this moment i am happy :) 13 days til i finish my job, 2 weeks and a bit til i leave for my 'merantau' :P

Day off tommorrow, more like day on

Last night of work tonight! awesome, now i get 2 days off to work on my 'self-promotion' if you will.
Look forward to a new look from tommorrow night onwards as i make some wallpapers and flashy banners for the sites, still waiting on my actors site as domain registering seems to take ages but i need the right name, otherwise i'll have to do a van damme and make a catchy last time instead of my one which i like.

Had a customer just come in and agree king of fighters was a crap film, i promise when i become a successful director to remake some of these titles, dead or alive, streetfighter etc and dod it some justice to the game - they all miss out what made the games fun, fighting and drama (grudges!) :)

also wifey was sick and wanted a hot water bottle, only we own no hot water bottles so used my kiwiness and filled an empty coke bottle with boiling water, wrapped in one of my large black t shirts and that kept her warm all night. I've been dying to share that, though has no relevance to anything i'm doing, on facebook it would sound like im showing off (which i am i guess but im in humour of it) but no one reads my blog yet so i'm just writing it to remember when i write my life story later in life (eg all my status updates on facebooks, blogs and pics will jog everything)

The salesman pointed to the vacumn and said 'this sucks'

Can't believe i'm still busing. It sucks...hard, i mean the time wasted is ok in that i get from A to Z (considering the stops at B and C and D...you get the picture) but the people i share the bus with, let alone the city...oh why! why write when i can wipe them all out with a simple tap of this wand here, lol, i wish, anyways

Happy finally making progress with the darkrecords website, Surface sent me some stuff i can post there and on my days off i will take some photos of myself for my acting and music pages respectively, no word yet on when shooting killing time 2 takes place, avoiding me probably. Have 3 feature scripts practically written so looking forward to finishing this directing course so can shoot them out of my head, but i have a year to get a hang of my techniques and conditioning.

Auckland in 50 days, cant wait to start my new life of training in film/ training in MA/ teaching myself guitar/tagalog and living a healthy lifestyle, will suck a little without my wife but there's somethings a man needs to do and this is something i need to do find myself and grow as an aspiring millionaire lol. a million before 30 is my goal, and i know i can reach it.

SO basically posting to get some heat off my chest saying that although my job sucks (the work is great but people ask stupid questions and no one believes in logic these days and im sick of being treating like i'm less cos i work in a video store like there's much else out there right now) life will get better, can't wait to begin my "vacation" :)

word to progression of self

The New Year Fires the starting Gun

Happy New Year to everyone reading this and i hope you all find the success you work for and spend it in fine company.

Auckland in 58 days now, excited but now realistic nerves are setting in, will i make new friends at this age? will i find the right martial arts club? can i find decent accomodation within my budget and will i get good grades?

This is the year i chase and catch my dreams, because if i fail i'm to become a 9 to 5 salesman of some sort and i dont want that, not yet anyway, I want to become an actor/director/ rapper etc...live life large, why live in a world thats big if you cant think big?

Sorted my blogs out now so i follow one for my filmwork asiprations, another for my music aspirations and another for art/humour.

Also put in a bid for an official site, stay tuned for how that turns out, Got the money i mentioned before - paid off credit card and saved rest for the Auckland mission. Bought some more JKD work however to hone my skills. Basically, All in All things are on track, lets make sure it stays that way!
