This is sooo turning into a weekly thing. i know, but time travels so fast when your having fun or really busy like me, anyway lets attempt to sum this up.
Thursday night, football night, lost 12-7 but thats cos everytime a girl scores its 2 goals so really should be 7-6 to us :) oh well, playing tomo night so should win then, scored a couple good shots and one awesome volley so happy im back on my game :) smiley face
bad side was when i parked the car in the carpark my ignition key snapped. now anybody will tell you if you have only one copy of an 1987 austin mayfair key get a copy before a breaks, but im not just anybody, im special, lol...anyway walked to the mall the next day and got a copy of the key done at the second locksmith we tried (as the first store didnt have the blank we needed for my make of car)
so we walked back and yay, it unlocked the door but it wouldnt turn in the ignition, so walked home, got some cash and rung my boss that i would be late for work and then bused back to hornby mall, for take 2, so he cut it shorter and we hoped it would work this time, as we bused back, we put the key in and held our breath and much to our relief it turned! My wife literally cried thats how happy she was, our life seemed to be full of problems we dont need anymore...
so THAT was a big day, then sat came round and we shot some pick ups for the film at the beach....i havnt finished the film yet and already am thinking of the next one, learnt so much by doing this and as it goes on through research and practice my actings getting better...sun, monday work,tuesday work -all days at work spent thinking how i can get my name out there, imdb.com, withoutabox.com, starnow.com, screenhub.co.nz all sorts of sites, im htinking the more exposure the more i'll get noticed....speaking of which 48 hours is coming up 2 days...literally shitting my pants at the htought of this...so determined to win, im grab this thing by the balls and by god the audience will vote me through, i hope to win a scholarship or something cos the course i been looking at i cant afford considering how much i owe already and have a partner to support...it wouldnt be responisble
Last and not least i want to comment on date night, sundays or date night and we saw DATE NIGHT at the movies lol. luv steve carrell, he will always be an inspiration to me, he always comes across as honest and sincere no matter the wackness of some of his characters and the movie was a riot too, no it wasnt laugh out loud the whole way through but real life rarely is so glad it captured the homely side of things that most couples have, somethings touched on in the movie definately resonated with me...anyway better go now, just finished shooting a fake trailer for the extras on the DVD with Damo and Hayden and played handball, so now just chilling and will write a short film worth getting on withoutabox as credibility not what i want to show the world as its more my practice pic (will be up at youtube im just saying wont charge for copies just rentals)
INTER on its way to win champions league and CHelsea sitting at the top of premierleague, YES will be DOUBLY happy this year :) :)____ :P

Wednesday 7th April - sudden friends
Forgot to say yesterday that i took my wife out on easter sunday night to see law abiding citizen at reading at the palms, its quite nice there, not as crowded as hoyts and the food doesnt cost an arm and a leg. The reason i talk about this now is a)just remembered this morning, b)its a great movie and the final scene where fire climbs the walls around gerard is beautiful but c)stalker.
Now, not much is known about stalker but i am thinking about making a movie based on the time she spent with us. No, we dont know her -thats where in the fun/horror hides. Anyway its this asian chick late 20's early 30's, and she was sitting by herself with a stuffed gorilla/monkey while me and my wife played a shooting game at the arcades, this lady mysteriously drifted over to my side while playing and i didnt realise til wifey pointed it out to me after. i noticed her staring at us when we bought the movie tickets earlier.
Anyway, we left the games section to sit away from the building queue and she started throwing the monkey everywhere and missing catching it, each time she was getting closer to us (cue relevant horro music here), i looked away to wifey to say maybe shes following us but perhaps i wa being vain. all ofa sudden a monkey hit me and she went to pick it up. i grabbed Melody and we went downstairs away from this woman and we found a nice cafe' we thought we could spend some time in, so we sit down after deciding on a wonderful hot white chocolate and a brownie slice, and guess who we see, yes the ghost, she is unlocking her bioke ready to l;eave but does she see us? i dont know but she walks past us and grabs a glass (without paying mind you) and asks the waiter for some water (maybe she was known in those parts) has it and then goes outside and hangs around her bike, i tell melody this is starting to creep me out, we turn around and POOF the woman has disappeared. i joke maybe shes hiding in the car, really hoping im just joking myself.
So whats the deal? she seems lonely? maybe she was stood up? maybe shes always been like that? i dont know, but everyone has a story.

Tuesday April 6th- iron sharpens iron
Whats up? Yes, Yes i know, sorry ihavent been coming on everyday like i said but dont worry, i wont give up. cant. like i said. i hope to use this as a book someday when i make it. WHEN, not if. Anways not much been happneing just work at the video stores picked up sincew school holidays now which means the more cash we make the more messy the shelves get and the more we have to watch out ofr theft which i obviously missed, who steals porn cases? dont you need the disc? the world we live in...
Almost finished the film, all thats left to shoot now is the jungle scene and subway(restauraunt)scene and bam, all done, to see the trailer heres the link

48hour film fest is coming up in a couple weeks, im going to go for the win this year, proper directing, keeping everything under control, the works. the last couple years ive had fun with it but everything seemed to just fall into place and most of it was a reult of juggling and improv. not so this year. this year we finish on time, AND get the audience to love it, if they dont,well, i dont have a plan B.
Also another film competition involves putting a shot of its Tea in the ad, ive writ a great script for this short film but im going to have to act both parts cos i dont know anyone who could play it seriously, you just have to look at my videos to understand who i can choose from.
also in the process of signing up with talent agencies, who knows if i'll get any work, but the fact is if you want something you have to get it, you cant wait, they are called golddiggers for a reason. no dig. no gold.
